Experience they say is life’s best teacher but in my opinion, it is a two-edged knife. One can decide to learn from an experience or keep falling prey to the same mistake or experience. on the other hand, one could learn from another person’s experience before they experience catches up with them.
High hopes are mostly set and we sometimes lose focus on what we should be doing to present ourselves in the best way possible without misconceptions. I am sure you are wondering what is the connection between perception and experience. Well lately, the internet has been buzzing a fly Instagram slay queen that her world came crashing because she cannot afford to renew her visa… #visabae but that is definitely a story for another post.
Experiences and misconceptions
So, on the issue of Stylebeat Magazine, we talked about second impressions, this kind of opportunity definitely comes once in a while but when it does come what would you do with it? I for one would definitely grab it and make the best out of it. I know first impression is everything but hey! second impressions are golden too.

Instagram slay humans didn’t come to play either… Now the just concluded Lagos fashion week was a blast too superb designs and presentations. The Arise fashion week too OMG! Naomi Campbell walked the runway! Best believe it was a phenomenal experience. You can get a glimpse of what went down on page 19.
